That’s the word I felt like described the day. It’s a day of constant rain. We had indoor activities and saw lots of people today. School friends joined us for the morning. We took them to Menchies to ensure no one ate their lunch.

I still had a sense of dreariness. Wayne has a cold.
We went to a birthday party and went skating. The girls had some fears. Sara had much more confidence, but Laura ended with more enthusiasm. They dressed like twins today and had lots of fun practicing on the carpet. We went around the rink twice. A woman them proceded to break her arm and required paramedics to come.

Most of the weekend was dedicated to playmobile play.

Laura gave these to me and Wayne. The dove is from Noah’s ark and the lion is from Daniel and the lion. She specifically gave us characters from the Bible.

Wayne and I cooked more of cow in the form of steak with balsalmic green beans with onions and shallots and parmesan mashed potatoes. It took a lot of effort, but was very delicious. We finally broke out our cast iron pans. The evening felt left dreary as I kissed the girls goodnight.
