This week has been busy. And hard in some ways. I don’t always write about the hard stuff…not always worth dwelling on.
Last week of art…Bible…swim…ski. After this today, we drop the ski. We actually skipped art due to the early dismissal.
Today was about me and Wayne. We had a long needed date. The day was a bit of a Sabbath. Pancake breakfast. Gathering ski stuff. Off to Snoqualmie. The place was crowded! I think folks were rested up and ready for snow.
The date was at Timberwolf Pub. For once finding a seat was a breeze. We just talked. And talked. We discussed details of life we normally ignore. It was good.
The girls did really well with their last lesson. Laura is normally off skis by the end. She’s usually very tired. This time she was on her skis till the end. Sara went on the chair lift 4 times.

She was a husky today instead of a baby cheetah.
We finished the last of the nachos and are watching the Cat Returns. It’s a Miyazaki film we’ve never seen. It ‘s a fun story with less of the weirdness that often accompanied this movie.
