Ski Sabbath

The dump of snow began while we headed up to the slopes. The powder on the slopes was beautiful in light of the rest of the country not having any.

Laura has such a great instructor, she can take it all lying down.
Hanging during lessons
Her instructor is great. He doesn’t mind her playing she’s a baby cheetah. She’s getting down hills well. By the end of the day, she’s the only kid getting 1:1 instruction with him. Sara is doing great, working her wedge. Wayne and I hung out at the local pub and had a great chicken curry soup. It’s a nice date time.
It makes the girls very tired after the ski day.
Tired after lessons
One girl is always happy to be with Daddy.
Dad and daughter
It was a good ski day for the girls.

The ride home worked well. There wasn’t much snow until the next day. We bedded down for the night. Fire in the basement. Smores. Rosemary potatoe Pagliacci pizza- my favorite flavor! We watched a poorly remixed, psychodelic version of the Last Unicorn. The sound was mixed so poorly. It brought back memories of a beloved childhood movie. The girls liked the unicorns.
