The day started with Thundercats. Wayne has bought the first season for the girls to savor one day at a time. So the theme song repeats in my brain. We ate pumpkin bread Sara had baked for us last night.
I roused us out of the food coma to embrace the outside despite the prediction of rain. Wayne loaded our bikes and we went to Loyal Heights Playfield. We all rode on the outer sidewalk. No rain. Sun! It was a blessing to exercise as a family. The girls played with a dog named Coco playing fetch.
Wayne started gingerbread house construction while I made lunch.

Early naps and 4pm service. It was so wonderful. I cannot describe. Sara is using the program on her own. We sing the carols together. I got lots of snuggles. The candles made my heart sing. The 5th graders rock!

Dinner was steak, spinach, red pepper quesadillas with fresh tortillas from Central Market. Yummy. We made an adhoc advent candle after the sermon about light and dark for the last night of advent.

Sara read the Jesse Tree verse about Jesus’ birth.
Sugar cookie decorating and sword fighting and book reading ended our evening.
