Thankful traditions

5:45am. Black Friday. Nope. I got up to exercise. I thought there was a yoga class at 6am. Nope. Not till 7am. The gym was awfully quiet at that time. I enjoyed the two hours to exercise leisurely. The dawn had broken with a break in our endless rain.

Life moved slowly at home. We slowly got pancakes organized. We made brain mold. That takes 5 hrs to set. The girls cut the fruit to help.

The girls made art projects. They constructed a tent. It was a play day.

I made nutella sandwich cookies. It was a messy business. Sara helped and then Laura mixed he cookies together.

Naps. Rain.

Finally feasting time with Jon, Claire, Derek, Pauline, and 5 girls. Sara brought origami turkeys. We noshed on fun cheeses- rosemary Parmesan; Wallace and Gromit- Wensleydale cheese and fig raisin chutney.

One memory is being surrounded by all the girls when I layed down to read a book to one.
