Pentecost

Before church, as we all scrambled to find something red, Sara asked in innocence, “Do they pinch you if you don’t wear red?” I love the melding of holidays. I like that’s it’s not competition, just celebration. We had lots of fun discussions today about the Holy Spirit. The third member of the Trinity is hard to grasp and hard to teach. The concept of a Helper is the best description I had. Now the Acts 2 story involving a “violent wind” and fire is much more concrete for little minds.
