The day has slipped by in the way that Sundays should. There have been minor glitches, our minivan not starting this morning. We’re dealing with that right now (did I mention how lucky I am to be married to this man?!! He fixes plumbing, cars, and computers without breaking a sweat.).

It’s been a solid week since Disney. We celebrated our 14th glorious anniversary. Sara’s enjoying T ball and both girls are in swimming lessons. We said goodbye to Good News Club for the yea with an Easter party. Sara dressed as Emily from Amulet for her school’s book character day. We had home group. I’ve biked twice.

We had J&C minus C plus girlies over for dinner last night. It was our first grilling night in celebration of beautiful weather. I made orchiette with pesto, chicken sausage, peas, and green beans.
Me and the girls swept out the door to the Seeds of Faith concert. It was a whopping good time. It was designed for kids with songs featuring pure scripture. My kids played and danced and played with 50 other kids.

Today, a semi-spontaneous picnic was formed with Amy, Mike,Jim, Ben, and Marit at Discovery Park. Kids were everywhere playing with kites and running in the grass all in view of the Olympics. It felt good to be alive worshiping God today.
Overall, it’s been a busy week, but full of lovely things that celebrate the first week of the Easter season.
