Laura signed her name at the signin sheet to Mom’s group this morning. While she’s been able to write her name before, she’s never been interested in this particular procedure. Today, she owned it withno prompting or discussion with me.
Sara started her first team sport this week. She is swinging at T ball twice a week now.
Sara wanted to read the Bible herself. We normally read a bible story from an abridged kids bible. On Sunday we got a new resource, like an advent calendar with numbered doors, but for the last 2 wks of lent. So we pulled out the “real” adult bible to look up verses. Last night, there was a suggested activity instead of a verse. She still grasped the bible possessively and insisted on reading it. She ended up reading the first paragraph of the introduction, but it had a good teaching about the basic facts of the bible.
Squirrels. I saw squirrels a lot yesterday for some strange reason.

New life. We celebrated Lucy’s second birthday (one of two Lucy’s we know with a birthday last weekend). Two of the families had new babies, just a week apart. New life matches Easter and spring here perfectly.
