I love having weekends at home.
Our church continues it’s year of change. Changing pastors. Now an earthquake retrofit. We worshiped in a new space and it worked really well. It’s much more intimate in a way.
Wayne put Laura’s pedals back on her bike she got for her birthday. She took to it like a fish to water. She has skipped the training wheel phase! I took Sara out on her bike to practice riding in a street. I’m hoping she can start riding her own bike to school before the end of the school year. We celebrated with ice cream sundaes at home.
The sun shone and the garden got tended. The work from yesterday paid off. We have dinner for a week now. The pad thai is really tasty with a little peanut sauce added. We ended the day with Swiss Family Robinson. Laura declared it a neat movie. It was a favorite of Wayne’s growing up.
