This year the waiting part of advent seems palpable. We’re not putting up many decorations this year. I’m limiting things to limit business. We will be waiting for Xmas in many physical ways. I’m going to be a late shopper by intention. One thing I’m not escaping is Xmas music. It seems to be the cat eager to get out of the bag the minute the turkey was eaten.
So I will try to wait for Jesus and wait for Xmas this advent. I will try to invite my family into that. We’ll see how it goes.
