Sara made these leaf tracings. A…lot…of leaf tracings. It’s made for fun decoration in our dining room and snazzed up our bday party.

The girls presents have mostly surrounded art. I’ve been impressed by the breadth of the art. I can’t find these things when I shop. The great thing about this (from a purely parental point of view) is that art is usable and doesn’t take up much space. It also gives such a fun experience. I spent multiple hours on toy teardown (organizing and shifting thru toys) before the bday party and we didn’t actually get a huge quantity of stuff. The stuff is just much better organized now.

Painting rubber duckies. How cool is that?!! Note the decoration in the back.

Painting is not something I’ve embraced. But now my kids are bigger and more coordinated. It’s much easier to pull out the art supplies and go wild without making too much of a mess. So now I’m embracing paint.
