This is the second circumstance where I have provided choices and got to watch what gets picked.
The first was book club a few months ago. I have less than standard taste in books and felt a little uncertain if my choices would be “book club” material. But they were. I was surprised folks didn’t choose my concession book- when Heaven and Earth Change Places about the Vietnam war. Instead, I got the Hugo winning, Ender’s game. Classic scifi. Not what I expected.
The second time was tonight. I brought several DVDs over to a Girl’s Night Out. The women picked Ever After. That worked out well too. We watched on a fun, tiny screen since the apartment theater had been hacked by a bunch of residents eager to play video games. Their efforts destroyed the sound system and left us with a laptop versus the super huge screen. Still fun.
Trying to get my head around the cold weather coming our way. Fires will be popular with us. The girls watched the beginning of Waterhorse with their Dad tonight. Harry Potter tomorrow!
