This was the beginning of the craziness that caused a 20 day gap in my blog. I had a lovely conference for rehab. The AAPM&R occurred for 4 days in Seattle (a once every 12 yr event).
This is the empty escalator of the Washington Convention center. It was so fun to be around 2,000 folks who do the same specialty I do. The biggest joy was seeing my friends. Annie came and stayed with me for 4 days. It was lovely having a “conference buddy”. When I went to the AAPM&R in Boston, I didn’t see too many people and it was a bit lonely. No so this time. Catching up with Annie was great. Oddly enough, I got to see some folks from my work more often just by virtue of having some free time for coffee. One highlight was going out with Amir, Garrett, Bob, Annie to Blue C Sushi. Another was walking through out the cool latest and greatest products. Soaking up the knowledge in seminars. I missed my kids and was glad to be home at night. Annie and I got together with Tracy on Saturday night.
