Another walk in the rain this Tuesday. The girls were excited about umbrellas, so we tried another take on them. Much better this time except for one casualty. Laura was not able to manipulate and umbrella, her stuffed dog, and her taggie. With minutes to get to school, we discovered Laura’s dog had been lost. We got Sara to school with much sadness and headed back to hunt for the dog. We found him laying on the sidewalk, but covered with a clear bag.
I’ve told that story to 5 women so far and get universal “awwwws”. It is a sweet miracle.
Earlier in the walk, we found a piano in the rain. We proceeded to play it and take photos of it. Not often you get autumn leaves on a glistening, rain covered wood piano.
Finally, these were the ghosts and ghouls haunting Laura’s class. Her ghost is in the upper left corner.
