Saturday, after organizing, we had a mega-date. Split a burrito at Gorditos (best Horchata), enjoyed Wedding Belles at Taproot, and rounded back to Bastille for our favorite desert of salted caramel ice cream with peanut butter crunch.
Sunday, the dishwasher broke and was fixed. I struggled thru toy tear down. We only got thru living room part I. We said good by to Dan Baumgartner, our pastor for 11 yrs. The kids survived the mega church stretch from 4:30-after 8pm. Mixed emotions.
After a weekend of rain and tool room cleaning, I have been enjoying riding my bike with the girls too and from school. I had Monday off. I’ve been taking photos of fall.
Tuesday, I went to the UW to hear the state of the rehab dept. Nice. Fall colors all around campus. Explored recycled cycles. Stopped at Piecora’s after medical appts. Best za!
Thursday was shopping galore. I had a fun day with Laura. Over an hour in Top 10 Toys gathering for various bdays till Dec and wrapping them all. Laura bought “hamsty” and brought him along for sushi. Mori’s sushi is certainly an interesting place. They seemed a little surprised by a kids. Laura is now consistently rejecting all nonFred Meyer sushi cali rolls. I need to start ordering her veggie rolls only. You can see him hanging out in the back. Then ride on the pony before Fred Meyer for bike stuff. Then photo op by pumpkins before grocery shopping. Three stores in one morning. Laura was a trooper.
Sara started the Good News Club this week. She seemed to like it.
I went to a conference on mentoring at Harborview. It was fun to see all the new construction and buildings.
Friday Family Activity night with Jack and Jane. We played catch with beach balls and played tic tac toe adinfinitum.
