Market

Another day to get to go to church. The seats are packed. Crowds are coming to see the last sermons of our veteran pastor. Today was a baptism. It was like a family party. The bittersweetness of knowing it’s the last hoorah wafted in the air.

We challenged the rain and headed to the Farmer’s market. Again, something we haven’t done all summer. We joined J&C and the girlies. Apples, carrots, flowers, toys from Clover, Veraci’s pizza, Dante’s hotdog, and D’Ambrosio’s gelato.

There was a geek fest to back up and update this blog- thank you, Wayne!

More girlies after naps. Girlies running circles around the couch. We tempered the laps with Cars (instead of His Majesty). We had J&C over for dinner. It saved me bringing them a meal postop and gave me the pleasure of their company.

My food got eaten. That was a pleasure. Lemon Ginger snaps with lavendar ice cream continues to be a hit. I baked all the girls chocolate chip cookies.

We continue to work thru Fringe series. We get see the premiere tomorrow.
