Up at 6:30am. No night awakenings from kids or adults. The sky from the tent is beautiful.
Breakfast. Industrial, coordinated, multistove extravaganza. Breakfast burritos. 3 types of pancakes. Bacon. Hot chocolate. Borrowing, sharing, eating, stuffed.
Prepping for hike. Didn’t leave till 11am. We did this one better. We got on the trail before most everyone. We’re slow so others caught up quickly. We added our girls to a gang of 6 girls total. It certainly makes hiking faster and funner.
The girls went into the lake right away. They were so enchanted, I kinda had to force them to eat lunch.
