This was the night that broke our collective patenting wills. Laura had already had a hard time with toileting. She was afraid of the toilets and pulling down her pants (since “it showed her cut”) and would tense up and scream resulting in wet clothes. At 2am, Wayne rushed her to the bathroom to have her have an accident. The next morning, she awoke and proceeded to pee on the floor of the tent. We soped up the liquid and started throwing wet gear in the back of the van.
We did pause for me to take Sara to get her Junior Ranger badge. We went on a nature hike where she got to measure the temperature and pH of the water a 4 different sites, some being hit springs. She was given a clipboard to record her observations. This was her favorite part of the trip.

In contrast to the 7 feet of snow at Paradise, the weather at home was sunny to dry out gear.
