I was disassembling the bike trailer after dropping Sara at school. Laura disappeared. She had been eager to head to the childcare at the store while I grocery shop. My kids never turn down the opportunity to watch a movie. I called to her. She had been playing the van parked in the garage. I stopped and listened. I didn’t hear any noises. I looked through the door. She was quietly drawing sitting in the hole behind the far back seat. She was happily content in her secret place.
Laura had a 4am awakening that kept me up for the next 90 minutes. I used it to look at photos and put them on the blog. I have a hard time editing photos. So I really should nap now.
I finally got groceries after a week of being back. A small run to TJs has lasted us. Frozen meat defrosted, fruit that hasn’t spoiled yet, and doing without have kept us going.
Yesterday was another day of conferences. I was conferencing from 7:30am to 9:30pm. Good stuff.
