Easter

Easter morning was lovely. The sun shone after a week of storms. Church traditions ruled. Mostly, Christ rose again. We left for service an hour early to get a seat. Our old church pews don’t expand well with all the extra people. Wayne got the dresses ready the night before. He’s the dress guy. We picked bluebells from the garden to add to the flower cross. We always struggle a little with flowers. Our lilies are never up by Easter and I never plant tulips. I sang the Hallelujah chorus as usual.

Here’s Laura with her dress twin. Costco rocks.

Sara drew this on the sidewalk during her church service.

No one is perfect. I didn’t get great photos of the girls for a variety of reasons. When I had my camera in the house, they were too silly. I forgot the camera at church despite all the lovely opportunities. They were still silly. One photo is for faces, the other to show dresses. Both in front of a flower cross they helped make.

Finally, I thought this was a cool description about what Easter means.
