Country living is great if…

…you can put up with the inconvenience.” to quote my father-in-law. Later in the day, the snow picked up to more of a frenzy. The anxiety of snow set in. Should we go out? Will we get back?
We set out for Poppa boudreau’s, a local, out of the way Cajun restaurant, to celebrate our dual February birthdays. It was the out of the way part that got us while we drove thru driving snow. The girls were at Aunt Karen’s and we were using Karen’s Suburban for the 4wd. We changed plans to head to Mexican in Columbia at Pancho’s. Debbie and John met us and we had a nice visit.
The Suburban slid on the way home. But we made it home with no further incidents.

The moon was a lovely sliver.

I got to photo in the snow. I took a lovely photo in the snow. Look at flickr in the coming days.

Looking forward to our annual pancake breakfast with Grandma on Shrove Tuesday.
