I did it! I got all the kids toys to fit in their room. As an avowed Meyer- Briggs P, I thrive on deadlines to get things done. The hard deadline is having everything out of the living room and dining room in time for painting. Instead of just throwing things in the basement, I wanted to take the opportunity to sort, reunit, and cull toys. So I did. It took about 6 hrs of work with some babysitting help. I got sick yesterday. I felt very fatigued today, but pushed thru. It feels good. Now for the art supplies and 6 months of art projects to go thru. I hope we can get packed tomorrow.
Social life keeps rolling along.
The garden show lives for another year. I went with J&C. It was a little stressful getting there and back in the limits of Sara’s school time. Laura has a strong will. I was able to go without a stroller and she walked the whole way. That was a huge improvement. There were some really fun moments- putting a butterfly on her hand, eating sushi at Blue C together, playing with star wars figures in the sand table, planting seeds. Less fun was dragging her out of a cool playhouse after she screamed at 3 other kids and refused to leave.
Sara’s had a bonanza of playdates- Johanna for an afternoon and EJ for a day. It was fun serving 3 generations of Motes tea.
Survived D&D on my day of sickness. Felt very tired. Will try to rest/Sabbath more tomorrow since Wayne can watch the girls.
