Rikki-Tikki-Tavi

Do you remember the 70′s version of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, the Rudyard Kipling novel about a mongoose who kills cobras? I do with great fondness. I found the book for the girls for Xmas. We were spell bound reading about Darvee, Rikki, Nag, and Nagaina. So we ordered the movie on Netflix. Chuck Jones. Orson Wells narrating. Neat 70s music. The girls liked it. It’s kind of like watching Chitty-chitty bang bang after all these years…a bit surreal. I loved the red eyes of the mongoose when he’s going to kill a snake.
