Laura took a Xmas ribbon and wrapped it around my Black Stallion Breyer horse. He is now christened “the Xmas horse”. And he looks good in red.
Sara and I played hide and seek with 3 sparrows hiding in the thick branches of a nearby bush on the way to school. We would walk to one side and they’d go to the other. And repeat.
Laura ran screaming to her room when I asked what she wanted for breakfast. None of us are sure why. Always good to begin with a tantrum.
Sara chided her sister, but listened to my admonishment and started teaching her instead (about how to tie the bow on above horse). That doesn’t always happen, but I mark it when it does.
I was sad that my bike had a flat tire. Then happy when it started pouring and I didn’t go out in the rain.
There was a contest about who got to say grace and how many times it could be said. Amen.
