4 real adult conversations! Holiday parties can be full of small talk. I have achieved a deep, long, uninterrupted, adult conversation with 4 different adults from my church I don’t normally get to interact with much because I’m running after my kids. I have learned about Guatemala, adoption, Chinese culture, and wassailing.
I carolled for 30 minutes at the party tonight.
The kids got their 2nd movie of the day watching Up with friends. we had the girls in PNO for a few hours and got to go out to dinner. we ate a lovely meal at Cocina Esperanza. Their chili rellenos with walnut cream sauce is heavenly. Only made on Fridays and saturdays. It was nice to look at the dark outside rainy world in a warm little Mexican restaurant decorated with festive xmas lights.
We got surprise notice that Johanna was in town. Sara got to visit with her at the party.
