We’ve been putting up decorations slowly this week.
The tree was taken home on Sunday. Laura and I rode the bike to Top Banana.
We did tree lights on Monday. Wayne had bought some new lights this year. He bought firewood for our cold week, but a burn ban dampered any fire plans.
Tuesday was decorations. The girls really enjoyed this. We smiled at the decorations from our marriage and the birth of the girls. I sighed at some of the beautiful ornaments my Mom has given over the years and we haven’t put up in 2 years over traveling.
The girls have played with the playmobile nativity set all week.
I put the red ribbon on the front door wreath today. We also broke out the ladder to put up lights on the cherry tree. Our across the street neighbor shouted out his door that it was about time. They have the picture perfect lit house our girls have been admiring at night for 2 weeks now.
