Lava has been an interesting topic explored by the girls lately. Sara made a corral for the Breyer horses after marking 20 of them with pink ribbons. They looked like a breast cancer awareness parade. The corral had hieroglyphics involving ducks falling into lava.
Laura today was discussing how you shouldn’t put kids in lava because they’ll die. That was my conversation while putting on her shoes for church.
Wayne reassured me that at this age, he strung yarn across his house, pretended the floor was hot lava, and made his Fisher Price people walk on tight ropes to get around or fall and melt.
Maybe it’s the age.
