School daze

It’s a rainy Saturday and we’ve survived 9 days of school. Sara seems to be doing very well. She likes her odd schedule, staying at school all day and going to afterschool programs. On other days, she is happy to have a half day to rest. Laura is still getting used to the schedule. She seems more moody and more tired. I think she misses her playmate. She cries when I drop her off at school more, she has a hard time napping though exhausted, and she’s more tempermental. I think that will take time. Today, it’s a rainy Saturday. They get to play all day together inside. That’s a rarity with our busy schedule. They’re starting early with a box of styrofoam peanuts.
