Sickness is gone

This time last week, Laura vomited. She had a glassy eyed appearance that made me miss her feisty micheviousness. She didn’t start eating normally again until 2 days ago. Sara got the benefits and sorrows of being the non sick sib. She got to watch movies with Laura, bit didn’t get to pick. Laura got offered all sorts of yummy enticing food (none of which enticed laura) and Sara said yes to them all, but didn’t get to have them.
Now we are done with sickness for awhile. I tried to scare up some company for us. Everyone was busy. That’s the problem with keeping kids home these days, it’s hard to find playmates. Even the gym was busy. I had forgotten to make a reservation so there was no childcare available. So I drove to Fred Meyer and we walked around the ballard marine interbay. We saw large boats, men doing a diving exercise, train cars (we talked a about the shock absorbers and the ladder on the train car), a guy washing the brewery windows, and a sign stating “don’t park on the train tracks.”. Then the kids got to play in Playland (translation: watch what’s on the tv). It’s been a good day. Now I just need to write 2 pages for my review paper.
