We’re off to Leavenworh. We were ready to leave around 10am. We joined jon and claire to watch the twins while they finished getting ready. I had to walk back since I’d forgotten the second set of subaru keys. By the time I got back, we were ready to go.
We’ve just finished at Kidd valley in bothell. It’s a nice stop. We got a little farther in our trip and had a yummy lunch. Nice burger and sweet potatoe fries. The twins polished off a shake.
Packing is always stressful for me. It’s something that takes concentration. That’s something that’s hard to achieve with kids. Pack. Kids need snack. Get back onto track. Scream. Mediate fight. What was I doing? Remember something I left upstairs. Run upstais. Notice that the clothes I’ve gathered have been used as a leaf pile for jumping and fashion show. Sigh. Regather clothes. Phone rings. Talk. More screams. Toys I’ve gathered have been scattered. Try snow gloves. Do they still fit? Child runs away from me when I want to do a fasion show. Will the charoit sled fit in the subaru. But we did a little at a time and did get packed. I just always stress unnecessarily. The dreaded ” what if we forget something” isn’t the end of the world I imagine it to be.
