My friend Caroline from college visited with her family. It’s been 13 years since we’ve seen each other, but our lives have been eerily parallel. We both celebrated out 10th anniversaries in the past month. We completed our respective postgraduate education in sychronicity, me in medicine, hers in molecular biology. We had kids around the same time, Abby is 4yo and Austin is 2yo.
They came for the afternoon and dinner. Abby and Sara became best friends in a few short minutes. Caroline and I renewed out friendship. Laura just smiled at everyone.
