Happy Birthday Sara Wooten!

Sara’s true birthday was today. We had the party over a month ago. It’s a little confusing for our now 3yo. She has taken it all with aplomb, enjoying the bounty. Today, we celebrated in a low key way. She got a birthday hug and fussed over. We had a Danish Kringle for breakfast. Wayne and Mom took Sara to the zoo. They explored the new indoor playground, Zoomazium. It got good reviews. There were few people at the zoo and all were indoors in the Zoomazium. Our November rains continue. We had enough flooding to close Mt. Ranier National Park. I stayed home and slept to recover from the evening of 1.5 hr awakenings. I got to shower and have a walk around the block. I’m still not supposed to be too active according to the doctor. Luckily, most of my hip pain seems to have gone away. Postpartum is great. I have lost 5 lbs since yesterday. That only happens with excess fluids and dropping a 9lb baby. Sara ended the day with her favorite movie, Kiki’s Delivery Service while we watched Prairie Home Companion (unfortunate waste of our time). And for dinner she got pizza snacks and ice cream. Her cousin Ella sang Happy Birthday to her. Happy birthday, my love.
