Rain was predicted all week. Today was sunny with a crisp blue sky and temps in the 50′s. So much for forecasting. My weather philosophy is to dress always for rain and be happy when it’s not raining.
This morning, Wayne and I walked with Sara to Cafe Besalu. We enjoyed fresh grapefruit juice, double tall cappucino, pain au chocolate x 2, and pear tart. Sara included Thomas the Train on our breakfast adventure. We wandered back to Webster Park on the way back for swinging and sand play. We arrived home in time for naps.
The afternoon was spent with work. Wayne trimmed the grape vines. I cleaned and decluttered the main floor. It’s amazing the time that organizing takes. It saps my energy. I still need to pack. Sara spent the afternoon playing on the deck and soaking up the sun. She used her sunhat today!
I’m preparing the last of Saturday’s extravaganza, chicken w/ edamame in a rice bowl. This week will be a light eating week. Probably, Trader Joe’s prepared food. We’ll probably do some digital asset management tonight.
