6 years!

We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this weekend. Now that we can no longer officially be considered newly-weds we celebrated by simply staying home, sleeping late, eating great food and soaking up the sun on the first nice spring weekend up here in Seattle.

We also saw, “A Mighty Wind” with some friends today. I loved it, probably not everyone’s cup of tea but the ad-libbed performances were rather amazing.

We also went to see this wonderful antique carousel exhibit at the science center. As you can tell from the picture below Karen is a big fan of these circular entertainment devices.

Frankly they scare me to death, especially the demonic looking horses and the fact that thing goes so fast they have to scrape kids off the wall after every whirl of the mind bending, nausea inducing blender.

In all seriousness the exhibit was great and gave us a chance to really play with the new D100 camera, which I had really wanted to do after attending a seminar by George Lepp at the Mountaineers earlier in the week.
